Upon graduation from college, I began my teaching career at the age of 19. I began teaching at Aurora Gardens Academy
where I taught first grade and in my second year, third grade. After
teaching there for two years, I moved to St. Anthony in Gretna. I taught for the next six years at St. Anthony. There, I taught eighth, fifth, fourth, and third grade. I had recently moved to Marrero, and looking for a GREAT school to enroll my child, I chose Visitation of Our Lady. At Visitation, I have taught second grade, and have since moved to the middle school where
I have truly found my home. I love challenging the minds of young
people. Students at this age, can reach for the stars and achieve any
goal set before them. For your information: I have five children. I love what I do! Teaching is the most rewarding profession! |
