Welcome To Kindergarten!
I would like to introduce myself to all of the students who are in my class. I'm so excited to be at Visitation and to be working in kindergarten. Visitation is the elementary school that I attended as a child and when I look back on those years all I remember is happiness and feeling like I was part of a family. I hope to give that feeling to each of my students. I graduated from both Delgado and The University of New Orleans. I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Delgado in 2000. I then went on to UNO and received my Bachelors Degree and my Teaching Certification in 2004. I have yet to use my schooling and teaching ability until now, because I've been a stay at home mom for my two children. My husband Brad and I have a daughter Grace and a son Braden, who will also be attending Visitation. I like to think my experience at home with them has also prepared me for teaching. I am so eager to get in the classroom and show my students how fun learning can be. I can't wait to meet each of you. I'm looking forward to a great year!
