Welcome To Kindergarten!
I would like to introduce myself to all of the students who are in my class. I'm so excited to start another year in kindergarten. Visitation is the elementary school that I attended as a child and when I look back on those years all I remember is happiness and feeling like I was part of a family. I hope to give that feeling to each of my students. I graduated from both Delgado and The University of New Orleans. I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Delgado in 2000. I then went on to UNO and received my Bachelors Degree and my Teaching Certification in 2004. This is my second year teaching here at VOL. I really enjoyed my first year and I miss my first group of students, but I'm looking forward to meeting my new class. My husband Brad and I have a daughter Grace and a son Braden, who also attend Visitation. Grace will be in Kindergarten this year, and Braden will be in the Pre-K3 Program. Our class also includes Ms. Daniell, she is my assistant teacher. Ms. Danielle had two daughters and they also come to Visitation, Shayne will be in 7th grade, and Ryan will be in Pre-K4. We are both so eager to get back into the classroom and show our students how fun learning can be. We can't wait to meet each of you. We're looking forward to another great year!
