 I am happy to be returning to Visitation for my third year of teaching 2nd grade. I attended Ursuline Academy and graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2004. Prior to joining the faculty here at Visitation, I taught a program similar to D.A.R.E. I was given the opportunity to teach at various schools within Orleans, Jefferson, St. Charles, and Plaquemine Parishes. This is where I discovered my passion for teaching! I love being in the classroom with my students and being an active part of their learning. I married my husband Jason in 2005 and we currently live in Gretna. We enjoy jogging, watching and attending football games, and spending time with our family and friends. We have a yellow lab named Drake who spends most of his time sleeping!!! I am looking forward to another year full of academic and social growth and development. Second grade offers its students many developmentally appropriate opportunities to develop skills to become confident, eager, and independent learners. By establishing the environment conducive to this growth, I am confident that each student will succeed and truly be amazed at his or her capabilities. I can't wait to meet you all and get started.
