Print and Cursive Handwriting
3rd grade is excited to be learning cursive this year! We need to make sure our print is the neatest it can be before starting cursive. Here are some ways to practice handwriting at home:
- helping out with the "grocery list" and making the "to do" list
- making a wish list for holidays ( Christmas, Birthday, Easter, etc...)
- making a list of favorite subjects at school
- making a list of Mardi Gras parades
- signing various cards for different occasions (Thank you, Christmas, Valentines, Birthdays, etc.)
- making a list of favorite movies
- writing spelling words for extra practice
