I believe that all students have the right to and can receive a quality education that teaches the students spiritually, academically, and physically. I believe that each student is and individual and should not be compared to each other. Students have different learning styles and needs. I will try to do everything I can to address each students individual style and needs. Learning should be enjoyable. I believe that if a student likes the school environment then the student will do their best to acheive. I will do my best this year to reach your child, to open their minds, to get them to think critically, to make inferences and to draw conclusions.
I care about each and everyone of the students that I teach. I do not leave my students at school I take them home with me in my thoughts and prayers. I believe that a part of teaching also means being a confidant. I do listen when my students need to talk, confide, and yes, even to vent. I will also try to help the children try to resolve what troubles them and help them to find answers. In my opinion it takes a community to raise a child. A community that invloves teachers, clergy, parents, grandparents, and family.
I truly believe that the children are our future. As our future I hope to give my students some tools through education to be our future.
The object of education is to prepare the young to educate themselves throughout their lives. Robert M. Hutchins |
