SACS-CASI Accreditation:
Visitation recently received its official approval for accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).  Accredited schools are schools in motion.  An accredited school uses the process of accreditation to stimulate and drive improvement.   Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this possible.

Spanish Class for 6th Graders:
Last year all 1st - 5th graders were introduced to the Spanish language and culture.  The Spanish class will continue again this year but will include all 1st - 6th grade students.

New Reading Series:
All students in kindergarten through 8th grade will have a new updated reading series this school year.  This new 2008 copyrighted series is correlated to the state standards and will help to improve students' reading comprehension, vocabulary and critical thinking skills.

Additional 1st Grade Class:
We are blessed to have 94 1st grade students this school year.  An additional first grade class is being added this year to accommodate this enrollment increase.  This is the first time in many years that we will have four 1st grade homerooms.

Multi-Purpose Building Update:
Our new building is finally complete, and we look forward to using it on a daily basis.  This facility is going to be a wonderful addition to our campus and church parish community.
