You're never too old to learn new things.  Over the years, I have continued my education by attending professional development seminars, workshops, conferences, and in-services.

            ASCD Summer Conference - Houston ( June 2009)
                    Focused on Differentiation of Instruction and Assessment
          
             TerraNova Data Interpretation (June 2009)
                    Learned how to make test score interpretation for our new standardized test as well as how to use the online data bank to generate specific reports.
         
           
CMI Conference -  Boca Raton, Florida (January 2009)
                    Learned the ins and outs about curriculum mapping and how a school that develops a curriculum map grade to grade as well as school wide can identify gaps in their curriculum and         
                    remediate those gaps.

Learned the importance of rich conversations between professionals, brain-based learning, mentoring teachers, and
                    technology implementation across the curricuulum.
