It is very important that the test be corrected and that your child comes to the next tutoring morning to have their corrections checked.  I do not check test corrections in class because of the time it takes away from teaching.

 

Your child will use all of their old tests papers as one way to prepare for exams at the end of a grading period. They should not wait till exam week to get the old tests corrected or to ask questions about the old tests.  With this in mind, please remind your child not to lose their graded tests.  Perhaps all of the old tests could be kept in a special folder.

 

If your child doesn’t understand why something is wrong, tutoring would be the place to ask questions and clear up their understanding.

 

As is school policy, any test with a grade of 79 or below must be signed and returned.  My policy is if the required signed test is returned the very next day, I will give the student 2 points toward homework.  But if the test is not returned by the second day after the test was given back, the student will earn a procedure notice and a minus from points from their homework grade.

 

This procedure needs to be followed for all graded tests.
