  The Archdiocesan Band Program is divided into three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Classes meet once a week during the school day for sectional rehearsals, and once a week either before or after school for full band rehearsals. Beginner Band starts in 4th grade. Students in 4th -8th grade who wish to be
in band must register with the Archdiocese and provide their own instruments. Registration forms including information about tuition and scheduling for band is given out at the beginning of each school year. Once a student has successfully completed a year of band,
he/she moves up to Intermediate Band and then to Advanced.
All students perform in a concert at the end of the year, and there are
other
events and performances for certain levels of band that vary from year to year. |
