Welcome back to a new school year!!! Band will be starting up again in September. This year we will have our own band room in C-16. Here is some important information about the schedule for each band group: Beginner Band: Beginner classes will be held on Tuesdays both during the school day and after school until 4 p.m. - Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, September 8th. This will be an introductory meeting only. Instruments will not be needed until the next Tuesday, September 15th. If you plan to join beginner band this year, please mail your registration and tuition payment to the Archdiocesan Band Office, and plan to attend our first meeting. Intermediate Band: Intermediate classes will be held on Fridays. We will meet as a full band before school at 7:30 and then again during the school day for sectionals. Students will receive a rotating monthly schedule with class times. Our first class will be on Friday, September 11th at 7:30 a.m. in the band room (C-16). Advanced Band: Advanced classes will be held on Mondays. We will meet as a full band on Mondays before school at 7:30 and then again that morning at the following times: 8th grade winds @ 8:25 - 8:55 Percussion @ 8:55 - 9:25 6th and 7th grade winds @ 9:25 - 9:55 Our first class will be on Monday, September 14th at 7:30 a.m. in the band room (C-16). |
