A much loved British Classic

This is the latest addition to our Vintage and Classic fleet and is the youngest car at just 39 years old! The MGB GT is the 'Hardtop' version of the MGB Roadster. MG stands for Morris Group (or Morris Garages) the 'B' is because it has the B series Engine and GT because it is the Grand Tourer.

This MG is used as a daily driver and it is very capable on todays roads. The 1798cc engine produces around 95 bhp and has a top speed of 105 MPH. The fuel consumption can be anything from 22 up to 28 MPG dependant upon how it is driven.

This car was not restored by us, but restored by a previous owner some years ago. It has just been put back on the road after 12 long years of 'hibernation' in a garage in Hereford. Apart from the steering wheel the car is original - even the interior is original and it has the same 'crackle-master' (Radiomobile) MW Radio in good working order - this tends to stay tuned to Classic Gold as it is about the only station left on MW now - but that is not a bad thing!

The 'PICTURE GALLERY' for this car is well worth a visit
