November 15th - The Next Journey Workshop

Thomas Kleinert

We will gather again for a Journey workshop with George Bullard on Saturday, November 15. We will meet at 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall, and we will witness the great unveiling: three distinct scenarios of what Vine Street will be in 5-10 years.

We will be spending much of the day together, so please let us know that you are coming. We will have snacks and lunch for everyone. You can register online  or by calling the church office (269-5614). I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, November 15 at 9 a.m. in the fellowship hall!

Voices for Darfur

Thanks for adding your voice! This past Sunday, Vine Street members joined people from across the U.S. in standing with our brothers and sisters in Darfur, Sudan, by sending e-postcards urging the new president-elect to make ending the genocide in Darfur a priority. If you want to join this effort, you can find the postcard at www.addyourvoice.org.

In addition, Room 8 invites everyone to join us next Sunday, Nov. 16 at 9:30am for a Prayer Vigil for Darfur. We will gather outside on the front lawn of the church during the Sunday School hour to pray, reflect, and remember those in Sudan whose cries are still urging the world to take action.
