Thank You Vine Street Family
There is no way I, and my family can fully thank you all for the outpouring of love, support, food gifts, and the many offers of prayers and help at the death of my husband, Tom. He too would be so grateful. The cards and messages of condolence have been very helpful, most of all, and just the fact that you have been a great PRESENCE in my and my families' lives at this most needful time has been a source of strength for me. The messages from Thomas, taken from Tom's recent book reflected Tom's spirit, and the music was beyond beautiful.
All love and appreciation,
Maurine Peake, Andy Peake, and Tom and our extended families
Enhancing Our Communications Action Required by July 17
If you are currently receiving the paper version of The Visitor and you already have an e-mail address on file, we will automatically switch you to the electronic version.
If you have not given us your e-mail address and wish to receive the electronic version, you will need to e-mail denise@vinestreet.org.
If you wish to receive a copy of the Sunday bulletin insert, please subscribe by sending your name and mailing address to 4101 Harding Road, Nashville, TN 37205.
For many years, Vine Streeters have written, designed, printed and mailed a weekly newsletter called The Visitor to inform church members and friends of upcoming events and document the life of the church. This summer, we will begin offering a new version of this weekly newsletter as an insert to each Sunday's bulletin. You can count on the same important information being included in this four-page newsletter, complete with an all-church calendar. This new offering is important for two reasons: one, it allows the church to spend less money on mailing out a printed version of the newsletter; and two, it allows for each week's bulletin to be better organized in order to focus solely on that day's worship service.
This update is a part of a broader re-visioning of the way Vine Street communicates. Look for enhancements of the web site and weekly email newsletter to follow later this summer.
The church office can still mail out this weekly bulletin insert to those interested in receiving it.
