Mission Trip to Vine Street An inter-generational mission trip Monday, Dec 29 - Friday, January 2 9-4 daily followed by supper and vespers Have you been traumatized by the boiler room lately? Have you dared to notice the paint in the children’s wing? Can you fathom our increasing utility bills? WE NEED YOU! We’re sending a group of workers to New Orleans AND a group of workers to VSCC! Both ministry opportunities are inter-generational. Download and print forms below. | Things to know: Lodging: your own bed Wear: clothing that can get dirty and closed-toe shoesWork opportunities: boiler room make-over plus painting, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, and much, much more Cost: $10 a day Food: bring your lunch daily, snacks and supper will be provided Expectations: safety, flexibility, sensitivity, fellowship and bragging rights Childcare: Infants and Toddlers will have childcare; all school agers will be given age-appropriate jobs and activities This is a new mission trip for Vine Street and will take a lot of pre-planning.
