1.     Put salt or rice in a shallow pan and have your child write the words with their finger.

2.     Use playdough to make snakes and then form the letters with the snakes to spell the words.
3.     Use magnetic letter on the refrigerator or a cookie sheet to spell the words.
4.     Let your child practice writing the words on a small chalkboard, white board, or a memo pad with a marker.

5.     Let your child use sponge letters to paint the words.
6.     Use Alphabits cereal and have your child find the letters to spell the word.  Then let them eat the words.
7.     Use toothpicks or pretzel sticks to form the letters to spell the words.
8.     Keep a travel Magna-Doodle in the car and have your child practice spelling the words on the Magna-Doodle
9.     Use sidewalk chalk outside on a nice day.
10.   Use shaving cream in the bathtub to practice the spelling words.  Please make sure it is safe to use shaving cream on the tub surface before doing this.
