Jamestown was a wonderful way to end our day today. It was a great experience! In learning the story of Jamestown, we learned the true story of Pocahontas, how the Englishmen and Powhattan tribe interacted and the perspectives of both sides. We also learned and experienced the tough condiitons of the men coming to the new world on the ships as well as the customs and culture of the Powhattan Native American tribe.
