Travel Brochure projects--begin on these today, handout given in class of requirements. Class time will be given on Wednesday and part of class on Thursday. Students should have brochures completed Thursday and will present them on Friday.

Persuasive/Propaganda techniques foldable: Students created a foldable over the four techniques we have studied this week (Bandwagon, Plain Folks, Testimonial, & Transfer). They then had to provide a definition (in their own words) and an original example of this type of technique.

Testimonial & Transfer techniques: Students worked on identifying these techniques in advertising and text. They then read an article "Not Born in the USA" and found these techniques and responded to comprehension questions. (graded)
