About Mrs. Foster

My teaching career began teaching third graders in Missouri. I then became an K-8 ESOL teacher for USD 250 and am now teaching 7th grade Communication Arts. I received my Bachelor's in Elementary Education (K-9) and Master's in English as a Second Language (pK-12) from PSU. I love teaching and believe that all children have the ability to learn and be successful. It's a collaborative effort between students, parents, and teachers and together we can move mountains.

My husband, Nick, and I have been married for fourteen years  and we have two great boys, Blake and Dakota. Blake is in 2nd grade this year and Dakota will soon be four and starts preschool this year. They love the outdoors, tractors, and trains. We live on a small cattle farm and assist my parents with their grain operation and the boys can't get enough of getting to help daddy and grandpa in the tractor or combine.

I love music and play the flute and piano and sing. I play my flute and sing with our church praise team on Sunday mornings. Other hobbies include gardening, working outside, reading, cross-stitching, learning new technology and of-course, playing with my boys. I'm a country girl tried-and-true and love living on the farm.
