The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you'll go.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to where our students will go in the future if they have the knowledge that comes with the joy of reading!

Welcome to our classroom website.  I hope you'll find this to be a useful tool to keep up-to-date with assignments and what is going on in our classroom, as well as a resource for information and learning tools.  Please check back often, as updates will occur frequently.

Visit our classroom blog and see what we're doing in class!

CARD

CARD stands for the criteria students must meet to participate in the academic celebration.

C = All core classes must have a grade of a C or higher as of the set date.
AR = AR percent correct (85%) and 100% of points must be met as of the set date.
D = Discipline,  students may not have more than two ISS referrals and no OSS for the quarter.

3rd Quarter CARD was a success and our EOY CARD celebration will be a lot of fun.  We are having a team against team relay.  If you have a white or gray shirt (that it's okay if it gets a little dirty), be sure to wear it May 15th.

For 4th quarter, the cut-off date for eligibility of the CARD program is May 15th, with the celebration to be held on May 21st.

Students not meeting the CARD requirements will receive a second chance opportunity to bring their grades up  and meet AR goals before the end of the quarter.  These students will spend the celebration time focusing on missing or low-score assignments, their AR goals, or whatever is needed.  These assignments will be allowed to be made-up for partial credit (the core teacher will have the eligible assignments for the student) and students needing to meet their AR goals will still have a chance to complete their goal for grade purposes.
