I was originally from Taiwan, the beautiful and safe place, and have been at the University of South Dakota since 1987, where I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. I received a BS in mathematics from National Cheng Kung University, MS in mathematics from National Central University, and PhD in statistics, a field of Mathematics, from University of South Carolina.  I has been invited as a referee to review papers by more than thirty international and peer-review journals including Applied Mathematics and Computation, Applied Mathematical Modeling, Journal of American Statistical Association, Annals of Statistics, and more.  I am currently serving as an associate editor for Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation, and Electronic Journal of Applied Statistical Analysis.  I am the Editor in Chief for Journal of Advances in Mathematics
