The United Church Welcomes Interim Pastor and wife, Helen

 Rev. David Simmons and his wife Helen, greet the congregation after the Sunday, April 13th service. A special potluck / brunch in Fellowship Hall kicked off what many feel is a new chapter in the life of our church. Pastor David characterized his leadership style in this way:
"I think leadership can happen by example, and solid leadership involves learning about and encouraging those we lead. First steps are to focus on what is directly ahead...it follows that if we learn who we are / where we are and can resolve in what direction to aim, we will be clearer about the things to avoid as much as ways to accomplish things we want."
