About Cru

Cru is a group of ~600 students at UMN who enjoy each other and enjoy getting to know the God of the Bible. Cru is part of the international organization Campus Crusade for Christ and has been at the U since 1957.

Who We Are

Cru is more than a weekly meeting or Bible study. Cru exists to help U of M students on their spiritual journey. We are students who love to help students discover how they can have a real, personal connection with God and we work to help them strengthen that relationship. And the best way to take a journey is with a bunch of friends, right? We provide plenty of opportunities for students to become part of a tight, supportive community.


Cru is Community: We have 500 members on the U of M campus alone.
We are students from all types of racial, denominational, and political backgrounds.

Cru is International: Campus Crusade is active on over 2,000 campuses all around the world. In over 170 countries. That's just five less than Coca-Cola.
We provide opportunities for students to travel internationally on summer-long missions trips and week-long vision trips.

Cru is Leadership Development: We exist to raise up and equip the leaders of tomorrow.
We provide many opportunities for you to grow as a leader now and for the rest of your life.
