Dr. Malkin is the founder of Engineering World Health and the director of Duke-Engineering World Health, as well as a professor of the practice of Biomedical Engineering at Duke University. As part of the College of Engineering's Dean's Seminar Series, Dr. Malkin will be speaking on the subject of "The Role of Engineering in Developing World Healthcare". The talk will take place at 1:30 pm in the Chesebrough Auditorium, Chrylser Center. See the official announcement.

We were privileged to meet with Dr. Yamada in a small panel Q&A before he gave a talk at the business school. He previously chaired the Department of Internal Medicine at the University and now leads the global health program. His talk can be streamed online via this link.
