We are currently building a unique low-force tribometer. This nanotribobeter will have the ability to perform as a profilimeter to complement wear and friction tests. This will give us the ability to test at specific points of interest on a sample with nanometer resolution. It can also conduct tests over a large range with the use of PI linear stages and piezos.
