This is a place to organize meet-ups between Twitter users (Tweeters). It was created with the intention of being of use for educators involved in the edublogosphere. :-)
It's easy to get started:
Setting up a TweetMeet
- Click on the year link in the Navigation bar. Fill in the details of your TweetMeet (date, location, organizer username, etc.)
- Post further details on the Announcements page. Feel free to link to your blog, Twitter profile, etc.
- Link to TweetMeet on your next Twitter post!
Attending a TweetMeet
- Send a direct message or @ tweet to to the organizer of the TweetMeet.
- They will add your name to the confirmed attendees at the TweetMeet.
- Encourage others to attend!
Remember
to be safe when attending a TweetMeet. Make sure you tell people where
you are going and when. Try to attend with at least one other person
you know! |
