    It is the end of 1981. Harry Potter has been murdered, and the Boy Who Lived never made it into the history books. Against the increasingly dire future, the Order of the Phoenix was alone in fighting on. In a battle that threatened to tear out the foundations of the Ministry itself, few survivors were left on either side. With all but his closest followers fallen, Voldemort had to abandon the fight for Britain and retreat into the shadows. Some say forever, and continue to live their lives normally. Some say only for now, and clutch to vestiges of the old order. Some forge new alliances, some fight, and many will die. As muggles, wizards, and creatures alike are lulled in a false sense of security, where will your loyalties lie?

    Dissendium is an online text-based roleplaying game based in an alternate universe that does not lose sight of Harry Potter canon. We seek to enrich gameplay by embracing the world of Great Britain outside Hogwarts. Original character only, staff-run plots available, and player-run plots encouraged. Your actions decide the fate of the world.


Dissendium is not a sexually oriented MUSH despite its R rating. You must be aged 18 or above to apply.
