The goal of Music Appreciation at TSAS is to give you a basic understanding of how music works and music history.  This is not a performance course, instead it is a basic overview or music. For a more in depth listing of what will be covered, see the Topics Covered page.  Mr. Doss is really cool.

Grading

Each week there will be an assessment of your understanding of the current topic.  A list of these assessments is located under Weekly Assessments. These assessments may be quizzes, reports, or other projects.  Each assessment is worth 100 points, therefore the semester has a total of 1200 points possible.  You can check your grade at any time at http://www.engrade.com.
