Can Being Too Thin Be Hazardous To Your Health?

There is a lot of emphasis in the American culture today about weight loss, and rightfully so.  I read, not to long ago, that the fastest growing demographic in america was the morbidly obese.  And the second fastest is morbidly obese children! 

However, what about those people that for whatever reason cannot gain weight-- the "Chronically thin".  In our culture, being skinny is idolized, and considered beautiful.  One only needs to look at the "super-model" icons on billboards, in magazines, and on television to confirm this fact. 

But, being too thin can have some major health implications for both men and women alike.  One such example would be that thin bodies tend to make fewer reproductive hormones, which can lead to infertility.
