Inflammation of the joints, also known as arthritis, is a very common, painful, and damaging condition.
What Is Inflammation?
According to the MedlinePlus Online Medical Dictionary, inflammation is an immune response to injury or infection that is marked by pain, redness, heat, swelling, and often loss of function/flexibility in the affected area.
There are also over 100 different conditions that are a result of unchecked joint inflammation. Among which include:
-
Osteoarthritus
-
Tendonitis
-
Rheumatoid Arthritis
-
Gouty Arthritis
Chief Causes of Inflammation
I mentioned above that inflammation was an immune response to injury, or infection, however, there can be a few more causes not previously listed. These include:
-
Stress,
-
Disease,
-
or, Poor Diet!
But, no matter what the cause of the inflammation, it all happens the same way.
A normal functioning joint has thousands of positively charged proteins called GAGs. These proteins will push each other apart when your joint is in use and this creates a vacuum in your joint space. This void that is created is then filled with a "nutrient-rich soup" that consists of water, minerals and fats.
However, a person with degenerative joint disease (arthritis), loses these important GAG proteins and the vacuum in their joints collapse. As a reult of this collapse, no water gets into the joint and the joint dries out and becomes inflamed.
The inflammation occurs when a mast cell in your joint bursts. As a result, acids and histamines are released into your joint causing pain, redness, heat, and swelling.
Whose More Prone To Being Affected By Joint Inflammation
-
The Older Population.
-
-
Those active in sports.
-
Those who are Overweight.
-
Those with jobs that are physically demanding, or that require repetitive movements.
Simple/Natural Solutions To Guard Against Painful Inflammation
Although Inflammation of the joints (arthritis) is very common, there are several actions one can take to prevent or reduce inflammation and the damage it causes.
Note: Numerous studies from such renowned researchers as Navarro, Ressel and Bucci have all demonstrated that joints can be re-hydrated by following these recommendations.
-
Replace the nutrients found in the "soup" of your joints - The most important nutrients to put into your joints are mineral protein complexes. Glucosamine, chondroitin and methyl-sulfonyl methane (MSM) are three good representatives of this family of protein-mineral complexes. Also, basic minerals like magnesium and boron are very important to joint health. These nutrients are pumped in and out of your joints by movement. So, it is important to keep your joints mobile and active.
- Stabilize the mast cell so it doesn't pop - Mast cells are surrounded by healthy fats. Dietary fats from certain fish and nuts can help reduce inflammation. Also, supplemental fats like Perilla seed oil, fish oil and cetyl myristoleate (CMO) create healthy, robust mast cells.
- Clean out any debris left over from the inflammation - Finally, you must clean out all of the fractured proteins to prevent more cell damage in the future. These proteins are like broken glass inside your joints. The enzyme Bromelain is very effective at reducing these fractured proteins and inflammation.
A Call To Action! Additional Recommendations:
In conclusion, to help reverse the most common crippling degeneration known as arthritis (inflammation of the joints), perform these simple steps:
-
Take OptimaFlex - TriVita's physician-formulated OptimaFlex increases flexibility, and helps reduce pain and inflammation.
-
Increase essential fatty acids - OmegaPrime from TriVita contains healthy fats that can help stabilize mast cells.
-
Keep your joints clean with enzymes - Enzymes such as Bromelain can help reduce inflammation; Bromelain is an ingredient in TriVita's OptimaFlex.
-
Drink pure water - Divide your weight (in pounds) by 2; then divide that number by 10; this is the number of ounces of water you should drink every day.
-
Get daily exercise - Try to get 30 minutes of exercise per day for optimum health. It is good to do regular aerobic and weight routines to help keep your muscles and bones both healthy and strong.
-
Eat Nutriously - A diet rich in whole foods like fruits and vegetables helps provide inflammation-fighting antioxidants to your body.
