I am a recent college graduate with a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Economics. I currently reside in St. Louis Missouri, and love it very much.
I hope to soon have different sections of this site soon that discuss some of the subjects I am interested in. I enjoy thinking and learning about genetics, linguistics, computation, cognitive science, networks, chemistry, complex systems, and plenty of other fun things like that.
I am also very interested in finding practical solutions to some of the pressing problems facing the world. In my opinion, this mostly involves more gardening. I intend to devote much of the first part of my life towards developing high density, cost effective, urban agricultural systems, and peer-to-peer energy distribution systems. I feel that both of these problems need solutions before humanity can live in harmony with our planet.
I like to do oil paintings, mostly landscapes and some abstract expressionist stuff. I also enjoy circuit bending guitar effects pedals. I really like blues, jazz, bluegrass, and electronic music like Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, and even things that are less bonkers. I am also very drawn towards restoration type projects: furniture, cars, old houses, musical instruments, polishing silverware, etc. Cooking and eating Indian food is an important part of my life; cumin, turmeric, chili peppers, garlic, and cilantro are pillars of my existence.
