as you might have seen on my blog, I am finished with the thesis and the defense.

I will leave the site open for a while and then decide what todo with all this here. If you have any ideas / suggestions, let me know...

Finished the writing and layout today.

Now printing and bringing it to the bookbinder tomorrow.

Hand in on Thursday in Munich...

Stats: 117 pages, 31.300 words, 1504 paragraphs, 3609 lines, 39 figures and 16 tables (7.61 MB filesize)

close to 20 thousand words on 90 pages right now....

Unfortunately I am currently very busy with a project at work, so the only time left are the weekends. After two lost weekends due to private commitments, I am a little behind my project plan.
I will take some holiday starting on July 27th to compensate for that...

Besides the small backlog, the paper starts getting shape. There are only three chapters missing in the main part before I can start with the conclusion, exec. summary and the introduction.

As the clock started ticking on May 13th, the official deadline is now August 13th 2009.
I took a week of to get a head start with the writing and made good progress so far. I am at about 12 thousand words and I am positive that I can finish it on the weekends and evenings until August. If timing gets critical I can still take another week of (only if necessary).
The Blog(s) are second priority at the moment - that's why there is not a lot of activity there currently.

... well almost ticking. I expect to get feedback from FOM tomorrow. From then I will have max. three month to finish writing.

As my project plan suggests, I want to hand in the thesis topic in March and get the clock ticking. Hand in of the thesis would then be in June 2009.

I am currently very busy with the move to Switzerland and the new job at Progress Software - that's why the work on my Masters' Thesis is somewhat on hold at the moment.
