committed to tackling poverty in the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. Our work involves participatory research, training and awareness-raising days, public meetings and contributing to existing services or developing new ones. Thrive is working in Stockton-on-Tees, using a new approach to tackle poverty in the UK. This approach is called sustainable livelihoods and uses a simple framework to understand the things we need to help people live with dignity. Our aim is in keeping with that of Church Action on Poverty and Oxfam - to work closely with people with direct experience of poverty, get their word across and help develop solutions.
