Locations: South/East London (preferably Hammersmith/Darford), UK (Location Update: 14th May 2008)
Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate will provide professional assessment and support to learners in the Care sector, enabling them to achieve their NVQ qualification. You will possess excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills and will be able to work independently and with others.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting, maintaining, and coaching a portfolio of learners to enable them to achieve their NVQ Qualification
• Monitoring Learners • Liaising with other Assessors and Internal Verifiers • Assisting in the marketing of the company’s programmes to potential Learners • Maintaining current occupational records • Participate in Training programmes Requirements:
• Mobile - able to drive for work
• Flexibility with respect to travel • NVQ Assessor Experience • Experience in Delivery of Literacy and Numeracy Key Skills Qualifications: • Qualified Care NVQ Assessor (A1 or D32, D33)
Desired Knowledge and Characteristics: • 2+ years NVQ Assessor Experience in Care
