Until then, there are easily busable markets in the U-District (Sat) and Ballard (Sun). See www.seattlefarmersmarkets.org and www.fremontmarket.com

Where are the playgrounds?

There is one at the Cascade Playfield and one in planning at Denny Park. REI has a indoor play area on the second floor.

Will there be a public library in SLU?

Unknown, please let us know if you hear anything. You can of course get to many SPL branches by bus.
