TNS is committed to providing comprehensive treatment for all chemical dependencies and a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff alike. In keeping with this philosophy, we maintain a drug, alcohol, and tobacco-free environment. | Our 14-bed OASAS licensed intensive residential rehabilitation program offers women the opportunity to learn the necessary skills to live independently without reliance on chemicals and other unhealthy coping mechanisms such as dysfunctional relationships. Women live in the Next Step residence for nine to fifteen months. During that time they receive individual, group, educational, family and vocational counseling. In addition to their on-going treatment for chemical dependence, the women are encouraged to become active participants in community 12-step groups that will ensure lifetime support. The program also offers a monthly family program and utilizes community resources to address various needs of women in recovery. "The Next Step gave me the gift of time--it saved my life." |
