Formed in 2000, The Love Junkies are one of the country's premier function bands, specialising in wedding entertainment and corporate work. Playing a huge repetoire featuring the best soul, disco, motown and classics from the last five decades, The Love Junkies are equipped to please any audience.

The band play in a number of flexible formats. The normal line-ups for the band are 4 and 5 piece. However they are able to perform up to an 8-piece with additional keyboards, brass and percussion.

The band specialises in weddings and have a huge variety of experience in entertaining wedding crowds. Please see what some of our couples have to say about their special day. Note: The Love Junkies are booked most weekends over the summer for weddings. Clients do tend to prepare a long time in advance, so be aware you may need to book the previous year for a Summer wedding. Check our availability.

Corporate Work

The band have been together for 6 years and have played in every conceivable size of venue from a client's living room to larger venues such as the Hammersmith Apollo, the Madjeski Stadium (Reading) and Richard Branson's back garden.

Previous clients include; Saracens Rugby Club (annual awards ceremony @ The Hilton Metropole London), Kent County Cricket Club (annual awards dinner at Leeds Castle), Barclays Bank PLC and Norwich Union.

Experience

Although only relatively young (average age 34), the four, core members of the band have amassed over 50 years of professional gigging experience between them, and have worked with artists as diverse as; Martine McCutcheon, Morcheeba, Roy Wood (Wizard), Chris Difford (Squeeze), Renaissance, Wishbone Ash, Shaun Williamson, Caravan, Toyah Wilcox, Gerard Kenny, Simon May, Daniella Westbrook and Dave Lee.
