The Farm School
a learning community


Requirements

Our program operates under what is commonly referred to as the Jeter Memo (see the section under "Additional Educational Option"). If you enroll with The Farm School Satellite Campuses program your home will be designated as a classroom or extension of the Farm School. At least one parent/guardian will be considered to be a faculty member of The Farm School at Home under the direct supervision of our administration. Your children will technically no longer be homeschoolers --- they will be students of The Farm School a non-public church-related school.

Enrollment Requirements:

 Read  CRS Law & Jeter Memo

Submit enrollment application with payment.

Submit a learning plan / curriculum list, preferably with enrollment application but no later than 30 days after the application has been submitted. Enrollment is probationary until learning plan / curriculum list form has been submitted & reviewed.

Submit learning experience summary (grades 2-8)  or high school transcript to date with the application or within 30 days of enrollment. Enrollment is probationary until the summary / transcript has been submitted & reviewed.

Submit proof of immunization or a written statement that such immunization conflicts with our beliefs and/or the child has not been immunized due to medical reasons.

Attendance and Progress /Grade Reports requirements:

Attendance and progress/grade reports (K-8 & 9-12) are required. The school year runs July 1 - June 30. First semester begins on July 1 and ends on December 31 (regardless of when you enrolled). Second semester begins on January 1 and ends no later than June 30. During any one school year the attendance requirement is at least 180 days.

Reports are due no later than 30 days after the end of a semester.
