Rick is the lead trumpet for the CoolTones Big Band and regularly plays in pit orchestras for the Pleasanton Playhouse and Alameda Civic Light Opera (ACLO). Rick is a founding member of the Vintage Brass Quintet.

Rick has also performed in musicals at the Hayward Little Theater (Morrison Auditorium).  He plays in the worship band and orchestra at Valley Community Church in Pleasanton, CA.
