From Anon:
signed up for the google-hosted back when it was called that. Then I
waited months and just to be sure I signed up again, I must have done
that a couple of times in the hope of getting in. Now with the
google.com/a thing I've signed up again, and my friends with similar
sited went just right through - and I still cannot get in. What do I
do? I feel like I've been blacklisted - but I've never done anything
remotely against the terms with my gaccounts.

If you are talking about being unable to view your pages from your
domain name or your old web site url, it is probably only because you, like me, made a small mistake when you made the changes to your CNAME, whatever that is. In the end, in my more recent experience - [and in my case on my 'GoDaddy' domain name hoster with no existing web pages at all - only on a parked site] - I finally got to the DNS management page [on DIAL-UP!] that said, "alias" and "points to." In those TWO places, I put in WWW.mysite.com" AND "GHS.GOOGLE.COM." [I THINK!] That worked for me within 5 minutes! My NEW site, purchased solely to experiment with, showed up on the web under "mysite.com," or, "mysite" - hit Control/Enter! If you want to wait 48 hours for each mistake you make, I'll still be there with you on my first old site attempt, no doubt. Here is my resulting new site: http://groups.google.com/group/hosted-the-basics/browse_frm/thread/67... | |||||||||||||

Sorry. I forgot one thing. Imagine that. When my efforts finally became fruitful and my pages showed up on the web.....NEARLY IMMEDIATELY..... [AND my old pages did too just in the last 10 minutes]..... I believe it was because when I found that right place mentioned above, where........ the "Alias" and the "Points to" boxes were available..... In those two places, I put in WWW.mysite.com" AND "GHS.GOOGLE.COM." .....just as I said above...... AND....REMEMBER TO SAVE YOUR CHANGES!

I would first try sending your request in from a different email > No, this is not a support-related issue. > This is me unable to get into the whole "google apps for your domain" - account. Or two. I've not heard of anyone having this problem - acceptance has been pretty universally "automatic." This makes me think that there is something funny happening with the emails involved here.
