I received a letter to inform me my iPhone app "SF4 Bible" has violated Capcom's rights, and they demand a detailed selling report about it. Well they are making a mistake, because this is an unofficial app, and: 1. No "Street Fighter" or other trademark from Capcom has used; 2. All images are drawn by me, not them; 3. All data are collected from internet, not from them; 4. I own a legal copy of Street Fighter 4 and I'd like to do anything I want, including tell other people how to perform a "hadouken"; 5. I'm outside America and the federal law and other laws are not applied for me. Apple may be afraid of them and may delete my app, but I won't buy it. Apple can force me to do anything because I'm having an agreement with Apple, which is written by them; but Capcom not. I'm one of their customers and a huge fun of Street Fighter, but that's it. I don't own them ANYTHING. Actually it's people like ME who make them benefit, so what? They must be out of their mind. If they really want that several ten dollars, come and "SUE ME!" - by Stan Marsh |
