Remember that each week the words given for spelling consist of memory words (words that don't follow a particular pattern) and pattern words. 

    Homework each week should give students practice in spelling as well as letter formation.  Please check your child's homework to ensure they are writing neatly in their journal, paying attention to the use of the headline, midline and baseline provided.
