Homework is assigned Monday through Thursday.  It is an extension of what is being taught throughout the day.  The students are required to write their homework down each afternoon in their planner. They should also have their planner signed by a parent each and every night.

 

General schedule for homework:

 

MONDAY: Spelling words three times each in journal, math worksheet, Star Reader is due on 

 Friday.  If you lose your Star Reader paper go to the attachment below to download a copy.

 

TUESDAY:  Math and grammar or phonics worksheet

 

WEDNESDAY:  Write ten spelling sentences in your journal.  Follow all the guidelines listed on the inside cover of the journal.  Math worksheet

 

THURSDAY:  Math worksheet and one other assignment from either language arts or science

 

FRIDAY:  Star Reader assignments are due on Friday.
