This week we have been working with objectives that correspond to our math chapter on regrouping. Most recently assigned objectives include adding a two digit and a one digit number (with and without regrouping) and adding two digit numbers (with and without regrouping). The students continue to do well on these assignments and I am pleasantly surprised by the greeting of "Yessss! We're doing Accelerated Math".
I look forward to seeing how many objectives will have been mastered by the end of second quarter when I will run certificates again.
I will continue to send home packets of their practice assignments when they take a test over five objectives. If you should ever want to check on their progress, please check the website using the passwords sent home earlier this year. |
