Welcome to the Second Grade Web Page
With Halloween this weekend, the students are certainly excited! This week will be full of fun and service for others.
Wednesday is our dress-down day for our second grade service project Reach Out and Read.
The students have gone to each class to ask that everyone bring in a gently used book along with their $1 dress down money.
These books will go to children less fortunate than the students here at St. Paul Catholic School.
Patients at the Sacred Heart Pediatric Care Center will be able to take books home with them after their doctor visit.
I know everyone will be so generous to this wonderful cause.
Thursday will be our annual visit to the Pumpkin Patch. There will be snacks, stories, pumpkin decorating and a craft for each participant.
Thank you to all those who will be able to lend a hand for our time slot as well as the hard workers behind the scenes (especially Mrs. Manning).
Don't forget to dress your child in their costume for this day. No scary costumes or props please.
Friday will be a half day. We will enjoy a pep rally just before dismissal.
Don't forget to set your clocks back on Saturday night! Don't you just love that extra hour of sleep?
Have a wonderful Halloween weekend and be safe!
See you in November!
