Wednesdays after school:  by invitation only

It's not uncommon for me to have students in the room working on two or three different experiments.  So to control the insanity, my after school sessions are by invitation only.   Thanks for understanding.

All the classes voted on whether to have their 10 word vocabulary quiz on the Scientific Method on Friday, same day as their spelling test in LA, or Monday.  I told the students what would be on the quiz and the format of the quiz so they would be a more educated voter.  I also pointed out the many disadvantages of having a quiz on Monday.  Nevertheless, the students voted to have their Science Quiz on Monday.  (Not what I would have chosen...)

Thursday, October 1:  Finish the graphic organizer on the Sponge Lab
Wednesday, September 30:  Finish the formal lab report on the Mexican Jumping Beans.

Monday, September 28:  What Makes a Testable Question
Do as many or as few as you'd like, but remember the math!
If you do all 10, each counts for 10 points.  If you only do two, they each count for 50 points.
Choosing to do only two puts a lot of pressure on getting them both right!
