I.                    Russel R. Reichman presentation (RRR)

a.       Proposed three ideas:

                                                              i.      Lead Source: setting up a page to generate leads for home improvements……No cost to SRF, SRF is paid on a per lead basis i.e. &40-$50/lead – 20% goes to RRR

                                                            ii.      Custom Value Cards: sell a card that has a free service and an ongoing discount i.e. free car wash and $2 off any future car washes, expires July ’09…..SRF has to pay for printing ($.40/card for 1,000 cards) sell for cost of one car wash and 20% goes to RRR

                                                          iii.      Multiple Vendor Value Cards: sell a card thathas min. of 9 local vendors discount. SRF has to also pay for printing of cards...sell at $20/card, 20% goes to RRR

b.      SRF discussion

                                                              i.      Since Lead source is zero cost to SRF, may be worth trying

                                                            ii.      Both cards will be a big seller. We can have it be a school wide fund raiser

                                                          iii.      We can put the cards on our website for printing and payment via paypal

                                                           iv.      RRR takes care of getting all the vendors signed up

                                                             v.      Need to get sign off from CV

                                                           vi.      May want to negotiate exclusivity with RRR

                                                         vii.      SRF would want to recommend the list of vendors with some recommendations from RRR

II.                  SRF Logo

a.       Logo approved by BOD members present (see above letterhead), can change in future if need be

III.                Padres Game

a.       Barry is going to check with CV and PTA to confirm date

b.      Date chosen by SRF BOD Sunday, June 7th, 2009

c.       Tickets will be bought for approx. $7.50 and sold at $15.00

d.      Barry will buy 200 tickets

IV.                Business Directory update

a.       Anita has 4 vendors committed and some still pending

b.      Anita will speak at CV staff meeting to get teachers and staff to help spread the word

V.                  Action Items

a.       Ben has Trailblazer treats 1/7

b.      Bijan - speak to RRR about exclusivity for us selling value cards (maybe at least within 4S)

c.       Bijan - run value card idea by CV

d.      Anita - schedule time to speak at CV staff meeting

e.      Barry – buy Padres ticket and run event by CV

f.        Anita – Design first proof of business directory

g.       Next meeting in two weeks, 6:30 pm Jan 20th at School conf room

VI. Ideas/In Progress

a.       SRF newsletter

b.      Cross marketing to parents to help them understand the role and goals of SRF – need to clarify this fundamental concept

c.       Decide on SRF signature event

d.      SRF branding

e.      Use Cindy’s email/vm announcements for SRF announcements

f.        Can use mailing list for announcements as long as SRF covers all costs

g.       Develop SRF banner to be used at ALL SRF functions

VII.                Teacher Liaison- Christina Adamson on Teacher’s needs

a.       Teachers are very happy with PE and music teacher

b.      Will keep SRF posted on any teacher needs (January budget cut anticipated)

VIII.              Action Items

a.       Chris- branding including new log

c.       Anita- SF Business networking booklet project

d.      Ben- talk to school staff/Cindy regarding writing grants
