The Stone Ranch Elementary School Foundation (SRF) is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to raising the necessary funds for programs that are not currently funded by the school budgets, grants, or PTA contributions.

For example, last school year (2007-08), the SRF raised funds to help support the hiring of two wonderful teachers at Stone Ranch. This school year welcomed Kim Bono, physical education teacher and Tamara Drake, music teacher.

Parents and teachers agree that P.E. and music classes provide numerous benefits to our students.  The SRF does not want to lose this benefit, and in fact, want to see more than just part time classes as it stands now.  One of the SRF's goal's this year is to raise enough funds to keep Kim and Tamara at Stone Ranch.  But, we need your help.

SRF has a board made up of parent volunteers.  The SRF Board works with  Stone Ranch Elementary staff and Principal to determine some short term and long term needs our school has considering its limited budget.

Our Mission:  The Stone Ranch Elementary School Foundation (SRF) is committed to providing our students with an enriched education by raising funds to support various programs.

Our Goal:  SRF's goal is to raise $200,000 by the end of the 2008/2009 school year to fund growth in the Music, Science & Technology, and Physical Eduction programs at Stone Ranch Elementary School.

Take the $1 Challenge:  If each family in our school community pledges $1 per day per student we could make a huge impact at our school.  There are almost 200 days of school each year so we are asking each family to contribute $200 per child to the Foundation.

Together we can make a difference. Do what you can to help preserve the quality of education that our children deserve.  Make a donation today.
