United Way of Greater St. Louis

The United Way funds nearly 200 health and human service agencies located throughout a 16-county area in Missouri and Illinois. More than one million people in our community receive services that strengthen families, help the elderly, keep children healthy and safe, and build stronger neighborhoods.

2-1-1

United Way 2-1-1 is a 24/7, confidential information and referral helpline for health and human services.
 
Partnering with 10 other United Ways, and with funding from the Missouri Foundation for Health, Missouri 2-1-1 covers all regions of Missouri not already covered by the United Way in Kansas City, Mo.
 
2-1-1 Southwest Illinois is also available to residents of St. Clair, Clinton, Randolph, Monroe, Madison, Jersey, Greene, Calhoun or Macoupin counties in Illinois. Other Illinois counties are covered by United Way of the Quad Cities Area and Path Crisis.
 
For users where their landline or cell phone is not yet active, calling toll-free 1-800-427-4626 will reach the 2-1-1 call center
