At St. Jude School we have an extensive collection of fiction and non-fiction books for our youngest to our oldest students. Our collection contains approximately 10,000 books. Children have the opportunity to visit the library once a week and check out books. Our goal is to foster a love of reading in all of our students.

Library skills are taught sequentially by the librarian and are integrated into the curriculum through collaboration with the classroom teacher. We are very proud of our St. Jude research continuum, which begins with our kindergarten students, and builds through the grades. The end result is a well-developed eighth grade research paper, which will allow our students to be competitively prepared for the challenges of high school.
Reading Olympics and book club are two activities that the library is proud to organize for our older students with the help of many of our St. Jude teachers. Students in grades 3-8 and their parents should check their child's google classroom page for more information about the library and library activities.
