Family Reading Night! This year's format will be a bit different from years past. We are very fortunate to host the very talented Sue Black at St. Dominic School.
Sue Black is a well known, local professional story teller. She will be putting on a fabulous presentation in our very own gym. The show will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.
Please plan on arriving at 6:30 p.m. Wear your PJ's and bring your sleeping bag for an evening of entertainment. Parents' Association will provide treats.
Don't forget to visit the Book Fair to purchase all of your holiday gifts! |

It's the day our students look forward to all year! Our Activity Day will be held on Wednesday, June 3. Our Parent Association has lots of fun things planned for the kids. Please consider being a helper that day. Our many activities also require many volunteers to assist! |

Please dine at Wendy's (near Lowe's on the west side of town) on Wednesday, May 20, between 5pm and 8pm. Wendy's will donate a percentage of the evening's proceeds to the St. Dominic Parent Association. The Parent Association sponsors many school events throughout the school year, including the Halloween Party, Activity Day and school assemblies. Thank you! |

Our next St. Dominic School Family Mass will be held on Sunday, April 26, at St. Francis Church, located on the west side of Bolingbrook. Family Mass will be held at 10am. All school families are welcome and are encouraged to attend. Please have your children show their school pride by wearing their school uniforms. Thank you! |

Watch Kid Mail for details on our next Dinner Fundraiser on March 4. We are invited to dine at Vesuvio's Italian Bistro in Woodridge. Vesuvio's is owned by school parents Bob and Sue Meifert. They have generously offered to donate a portion of the evening's revenues to St. Dominic School. Please plan on dining out on March 4! |

Please join us on Sunday, January 25, 2009 for a School Family Mass at St. Dominic Church at 8:30am. Students are invited to wear their school uniforms to mass. Following mass, St. Dominic School will have an Open House from 9:30am until 12:30pm.
Our mass begins a week of activities celebrating Catholic Schools Week. On Tuesday, the school will host Abe Lincoln for an afternoon assembly. On Wednesday, the students are encouraged to invite a special person to lunch in our gym for our Bring Someone Special to Lunch Day. We will have our Spelling Bee on Thursday and our Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Friday.
Please encourage anyone you know who may be interested in Catholic education to attend our Open House on Sunday!

Our St. Dominic Parent Association will sponsor the Santa's Secret Shop during school hours on Dec. 11 and 12. Students are welcome to bring their money to school and shop for family members. Please see Attachment below for details. |
